Work Rant

How come I find it difficult to get up during the morning? I steal every hour, minute and second I can get in bed. During bootcamp, I managed to come in at work at around 830-9 for a month or so. But now, I arrive past 9:10! It seems like a big hassle to get my lazy ass out of bed.

What is the reason behind this? Is it because I am not happy with what I am doing? Is it because I have no motivation? Unlike before, I am at school by 5:30-ish in the morning to train. I did that for 4 straight years! How the hell did I do that? Now, all I need to do is to come in around 3 hours later and I still cannot comply! Where is my drive?

Maybe I need to find another reason other than work to earn so that I can be right on track.

Mall of Asia Experience

My parents and two of my siblings picked me up from work and we headed off to Mall of Asia. From the outside the mall looked astounding! They have this ala Universal Studios globe outside the mall. It was that huge. A first timer would definitely get lost inside. We looked like touristas.

Good thing that there weren’t that many people there since it was a Thursday night. I heard that during Friday-Sunday there are people coming from different classes. The inside was spacious. I guess the effect of the floors and light added to this. Hopefully they will continue to maintain its cleanliness like how Shangri-la is taken care.

I wasn’t able to tour the whole mall though. We went to the strip facing Manila Bay where different restaurants such as Gerry’s Grill, Good Earth, CafĂ© Breton, Bo’s Coffee, Seattle’s Best were located. I liked how they situated these restaurants along the side of the mall so that even if the mall is closed, these restos can continue its business until the wee hours.

The I-Max part was gorgeous! They had this chill area outside the theater. There were couches, tables, music area all in red since it had a Coke and San Miguel theme. How I would love to have a spot similar to that at my own home. Too bad we weren’t able to catch a movie since we were late for the last full show.

The skating rink was bigger than the one at Megamall. People say that it is as big as the ones they use in the Olympics. I wouldn’t really know though. It has this Mt. Everest background which makes the rink appear cooler. I would really love to skate there just for fun.

The shops are great. They have a variety of stores there. From clothing, flip flops, toys, hobbies, bookstores, etc. One would easily past time just walking around the mall.

All in all, I enjoyed my short trip. I had a great time bonding with my family in another environment. It was also a good exercise for all of us with all the walking we did. Then again, I realized that it wasn’t that enormous after all. Imagine the floors of Megamall spread out in just two floors. Nonetheless, I would still gladly go back there and get my i-max experience.

The Trip

Whoever in his right mind would make patol a jeepney driver? It doesn't mean that if you drive this white Fortuner that you are educated. You know how jeepney drivers are... they think they own the road... switching lanes... stopping in the middle of the road dropping off passengers and at the same time picking up another set of passengers. They do this in order to survive in this world.

Yes, their lack of road discipline is annoying. What should you do? Give way to them and when they get to overtake you, you honk at them non-stop. Afterwards try to catch the jeep and make it gitgit and at the same time block all the vehicles behind. Then, roll down your window and exchange not so nice words to the driver.

Good thing we arrived safely at the train station. I just realized that it is more violent in the first train which is exclusive for women, children, handicapped and eldery. Imagine all the pushing, nudging and taray exchanges! Not a very good situation to be in.

Why do people act like this anyway? Everyone works to survive. Each one would like to reach their destination as quickly as possible. But bakit kailangan makipagunahan at sabayan pa ng init ng ulo?

People these days...

Wrong Kind of Right

Each human being is unique. One may either be white, black, brown or yellow. Physically, one may be tall, short, stout, slim, athletic, unfit and stuff. Personality wise, one maybe a mixture of loud, quiet, serious, wacky, friendly, snobbish and all that. Gender-wise, one may only be man or woman. However, despite all these differences, each individual has a commonality… each person desires to be happy.

Then again, what is happiness? According to Mr. Webster, to be happy is to enjoy well-being and contentment. People strive for satisfaction in life. Sadly there are individuals who do everything and anything even if it is against their will to attain this bliss. People get blinded by the gratification one may obtain and neglect what is moral.

It is understandable that what makes one person happy may not make another person glad. The source of ecstasy varies from person to person. Nonetheless, I cannot discern why there are creatures that choose to get into immoral engagements. Yes, there are people who wish that they were somebody else. On the contrary, our Creator molded us either man or woman only… and nothing in between. Unfortunately, these creatures do exist.

I have nothing against them. It is given that human beings are social beings and that they yearn to love and to be loved. I just do not get it why pretty ladies and handsome men go for their own kind. The thought of **** and ***** makes me wanna barf! As if they will have a future. Why enter a relationship when you cannot make a family in the future? I know with the technology on hand at present it is still possible, but it is just different and simply put, immoral. It is absurd that people like them are multiplying! It is disturbing! Then again, people are unique. They just wanna be happy even if it is a case of the wrong kind of right.

Sober Conversations

The world is such a scary place. The people you think you know may not be what they really are.

One may give up everything for love even if it is againsts one's will. However, there are still people who still follow thier mind instead of thier heart. Hoooray for people like tham.

Love isn't enough. To have a strong and lasting relationship, one must trust the one you love and accept one's weaknesses and mistakes. It is not how many times you have forgiven but how you showed understanding.

The process of finding one's self is difficult. The people around you can mold you to be what you will be. But in the end, it is still your choice one what you wanna do.
