On People Who Take Advantage of the Christmas Season

Christmas is a season of joy, hope and love. It is the time of giving. But it irritates me when numerous "beggars" ring your bell and expect to get something. Even if how nice you try talk to them, they do not stop! They even have the guts to bad mouth you and stuff.

God, they are capable of earning! It does not mean just because it is Christmas they can do that. It does not mean that I suddenly earn a gazillion bucks since its the yuletide season and that I have something to spare them. I am not being greedy, it would be okay to give to the mailman, garbage man, recycle boy, waterman delivery dude... but random people? Gosh.

Wish List

I usually do not have a wish list. Maybe because I do not want anything in particular. If ever I do want something, when I ponder if I will get it, I end up not getting it due to multiple circumstances such as I do not really need it.

But lo and behold, my very first item:

Tokyo Flash

Would someone be my Santa for this year?

On Wishes

A wish is a desire... a longing for a specific thing. Earlier this morning there was a meteor shower. I made tons of wishes on the falling stars. One of those wishes was for us to win our game today.

We were surprisingly ahead by the end of the first quarter. Sadly, basketball is not composed of one quarter. By halftime we were double digits behind. But, I did not stop fighting. We made a run and by the end of three quarters we were only behind by 3! Then again, lack of training and resistance took its tool. They killed us in transition offense.

Even if I make countless wishes upon falling stars... it would never be enough if not everyone would exert 110%+ effort.

So do wishes come true?

Kalungkutan

Napakatahimik. Walang sumalubong. Madilim. Ni ilaw sa itaas walang nakabukas.

I don't wanna be alone!

On Addicts

An addict is to occupy or involve in something habitually or compulsively. If this routine is disrupted, one is incomplete. Usually the term addict is associated with drugs. Then again, one may be obsessed in other things. Fetish for shoes, craving for chocolates, yearning for sex and engrossment towards games are some examples.

Sadly, I am addict. I am an addicted to this no filler game called bejeweled 2. I know this is such a lame and old game, but I do not know. Every night I play it. I say that I am waiting for sleep to catch me or that I am waiting for my hair to dry but I end up being too engrossed in the game. I would not stop until I beat my previous high score.

There was a night when I planned to sleep early because I will meet up with my officemate at around 7-ish. So I was in bed by 11ish. But guess what? It was already 2 in the morning and my eyes were wide open. Was it because I was not able to get my dose of excitement or was it because I was excited for the next day?

On Dares

A dare is to challenge someone to do something which requires boldness. There are instances that need some courage in order to accomplish something. Then again, there are occasions wherein it appears foolish to do something just because of a dare and due to the anxiety to be named chicken.

I do not consider myself audacious by nature. I have to work on my confidence and stuff. But it surprises me that when push comes to push, more often than not, I rise to the challenge. I find the nerves to showcase that I am not what they think I am.

I have not been major-ly dared; I stun myself with my actions. Such actions include looking like a dope by doing silly stuff resembling to smooching a person. Does it pay not to back done from dares? It adds color to life. In silence, I snicker on their disbelief and shocked reactions.

Note: Next time when you dare me, make sure that you are ready. You never know. I might just do it. Be ready with the consequences that may arise because of what you asked me to do.

Nothing personal. I just did what you DARED me.

Now, I dare you to move! :p

Bato bato sa langit

the whole context in which we met was innocent
it wasn't me who led
one long day it came with a rush
whom have you worked this magic on before?
you hide your thoughts and shroud yourself in mystery
when did you make a hole inside of me?
trapped in this room, suffocating in your niceties
somehow i want to hide myself somewhere away from you

-- Shiina Ringo

Finally

We won one! :)

It seems like ages since I last experienced the feeling of triumph. Yuck. Please. As if it was a championship game. Oh well. Pagbigyan nyo na... this does not happen very often. ;)

The good thing is that we are still ALIVE. We still have a huge chance of entering the final 4. Then again, there are only 6 teams. Hope we win our next game and the games after that.

Libre lang naman mangarap eh.

huwhy?!?

It is soooo unfair! How come those guys are gay? :( In fairness, they were kind and not the bastos type.

Still... it breaks my heart. Why can't they be straight?!?
