Alcoholic

Alcohol
can make you laugh
can make you cry
can make you talk
can make you realize things
can make you crazy

can kill your brain cells
can kill you literally as well

Alcohol is dangerous to one's health.

I am not an alcoholic... I am the person who watches over and takes care of the drunkards. I've seen people knocked out, barfed, laughed, cried, blabbed, etc. It's not an easy job, but someone has to do it. Plus, I don't think I've been drunk ever in my life.. well, maybe just a bit tipsy and that, but still I am sane. At times, I get to know the inner most feelings or the deepest anger of others. I do not mean too, but they just keep on talking the night/morning away. I get bothered occassionaly for I do not know how to handle the different scenarios. What will I tell them to make them feel better? Or would it be better for me not to say anything at all?

Oh well, at least we've formed a bond of some sort.

Alcohol is bad.

TV shows 101

On the Amazing Race:
Too bad Ray and Yolanda was the third team to reach the pitstop. At least it wasn't the frat boys who arrived first considering the previous legs. Congrats to the hippies!

On the American Idol:
Good-bye Elliot! :( I just hope that Mr. Soul Patrol brings home the bacon.

On Prison Break:
Season one has ended. I think that it is such a guy movie, but I got hooked badly. I guess its the suspense and action that did the trick or maybe the different twists/conflicts/puzzles every episode. No more daily doze of Wentworth Miller. :( It is alright tho since work has started to come in. When S2 comes out, I will be ready. Hehe.

Xs: I told myself pa naman before that I shouldn't watch these series anymore since I get too affected. Oh, well.

Regularization

6 months has passed by since this IT consulting company officially employed me and that means that I am not a probi anymore... I am already REGULAR! Hello benefits! Time to get those opticals and give a visit to the different doctors. Hello vacations with PAY! Nyahahaha!

Then again, when will I get an increase?

Will I ask for another 18 months? Tsk tsk.

Camon and let us see....

Blocker

Why the hell do they have to block the “recreational” sites? Those friend-stalking sites are understandable, but how about those photo repositories? How about those music and sports sites? What do they expect us to do during in-betweens?

Is this a sign that they want us to develop, execute and test 8 hours straight? Fine, that is reasonable. But then again, how about the people who are benched and those who do not have tasks to accomplish? Do you not think that a break must be given at least twice --- one in the morning and another during the afternoon? Nonetheless, I am not a corporate slave for nothing.

Go ahead and block ALL the “recreational” sites!
… and see how I become delusional!
Crap!

Labor Day Weekend

We went here . Doesn't the pictures look beautiful? But don't let those fool you. How amazing how they make those shots, don't you think?

We arrived when everyone was leaving. No people watching for us. On the other hand, we had the whole beach to ourselves by the afternoon! Mini-foozeball(sp?), sunbathing, swimming, strolling along the beach, kayaking, drinking, bonding, etc. Chillax!

It may seem that its nothing special, but I enjoyed...especially since the whole clan was present.

Good times.
