Mixed Nuts
My friend casually told me that he broke up with his girlfriend. I was numb. Things between them seemed smooth sailing. My friend treated her well. He loved her.
Just because of a misunderstanding...boom! "Forget about it"!
Part of me felt sad for what happened. I only want the best for him and not settle for anything less than what he deserves.
However a tiny part of me was glad. He is single! As if... he is miles away.
